REGULAR Monthly meetings:

The Detachment  meets on the 4th Saturday of each month, except for November and December, at  Lakewood Community Center, 1900 Lauderdale Drive, Richmond, VA 23238. Breakfast from 0830-0900 is $8.00 with Detachment Business meeting 0900-1030. Click on the red Lakewood Map button for parking and entrance nearest the meeting place.

The next Detachment Business Meeting on Saturday March 25, 2023 will be at Lakewood Community Center. Breakfast from 0830-0900 is $8.00 with Detachment Business Meeting 0900-1030.

       NOTE HHSVF FOUL WEATHER POLICY: If Henrico County Public Schools are closed or 

                      their opening is delayed by 2 hours or more, HHSVF is cancelled.


HHSVF meets next on Tuesday April 11, 2023. Note that we will meet on the 2nd floor of Publix in its Community Meeting Room at 2250 John Rolfe Pky, Henrico, VA 23233.


Our speaker will be Major General Jason Bohm, USMC who will talk about the origins of the Corps and his book, Washington's Marines-The Origins of the Corps and the American Revolution, 1775-1777.




​​​Doors open at 1115, the program begins at 1150, and the program will conclude by 1300.  Lunch may be purchased from Publix' Deli.
