REGULAR Monthly meetings:

The Detachment normally meets on the 4th Saturday of each month, except for November and December, at  Lakewood Community Center, 1900 Lauderdale Drive, Richmond, VA 23238. Breakfast from 0830-0900 is $8.00 with Detachment Business meeting 0900-1030. Click on the red Lakewood Map button for parking and entrance nearest the meeting place.   

The next Detachment Business Meeting on Saturday January 22, 2022 will be at Lakewood Community Center. Lakewood requests masks be worn  outside our meeting room. Breakfast from 0830-0900 is $8.00 with Detachment Business Meeting 0900-1030.

       NOTE HHS FOUL WEATHER POLICY: If Henrico County Public Schools are closed or 

                      their opening is delayed by 2 hours or more, HHS is cancelled.


HHS meets next on Tuesday February 8, 2022. Guest speaker is General John F. Kelly, USMC (Retired), former Secretary of Homeland Security  and former White House Chief of Staff.

Doors open at 1100, the program begins at 1150, and the program will conclude by 1300.  After the program, lunch can be purchased only by credit or debit card in the Cafe for about $6 to $8 or in the Dining Room for about $9 to $13, but box lunches are currently unavailable.


All attendees must be "FULLY" vaccinated for Covid-19, and Lakewood requires HHS attendees to wear masks outside the meeting room as well.
