The Detachment meets on the 4th Saturday of each month, except for November and December, at Lakewood Community Center, 1900 Lauderdale Drive, Richmond, VA 23238. Breakfast from 0830-0900 is $8.00 with Detachment Business meeting 0900-1030. Click on the red Lakewood Map button for parking and entrance nearest the meeting place.

Colonel Richard Camp, USMC (retired), our guest speaker, is a 26 year Marine veteran, including one tour in Vietnam as a rifle company commander and Aide de Camp to MajGen Ray Davis, retired as a Colonel, four tours of recruiting duty, peacetime infantry and reconnaissance platoon and company commander, Special Ceremonial platoon commander, Marine Barracks 8th and Eye, Acting Director History Division. Operations Officer, National Museum of the Marine Corps, author of 15 fiction//non-fiction books and over 100 military related articles...and the husband of Suzi, a fantastic wife.
Doors open at 1115, the program begins at 1150, and the program will conclude by 1300. Lunch may be purchased from Publix' Deli.
