      houston-HOLICKY-SITTER VETERANS FORUM

       NOTE HHSVF FOUL WEATHER POLICY: If Henrico County Public Schools are closed or 

                      their opening is delayed by 2 hours or more, HHSVF is cancelled.


HHSVF meets next on Tuesday May 12, 2026. Note that we will meet on the 2nd floor of Publix in its Community Meeting Room at 2250 John Rolfe Pkwy, Henrico, VA 23233.


                   LtCol Mike Schoelwer, USMC (ret)​

LtCol Schoelwer will discuss extraction operations such as the extraction of Marina Corina Machado, opposition leader and Nobel Peace Prize winner, from Venezuela. 

​Doors open at 1115, the program begins at 1150, and the program will conclude by 1300.  Lunch may be purchased from Publix' Deli.

REGULAR Monthly meetings:

The Detachment  meets on the 4th Saturday of each month, except for November and December, at  Lakewood Community Center, 1900 Lauderdale Drive, Richmond, VA 23238. Breakfast from 0830-0900 is $8.00 with Detachment Business meeting 0900-1030. Click on the red Lakewood Map button for parking and entrance nearest the meeting place.   

The next Detachment Business Meeting on Saturday March 28,2026 will be at Lakewood Community Center. Breakfast from 0830-0900 is $10.00 with Detachment Business Meeting 0900-1030.
