REGULAR Monthly meetings:

The Detachment  meets on the 4th Saturday of each month, except for November and December, at  Lakewood Community Center, 1900 Lauderdale Drive, Richmond, VA 23238. Breakfast from 0830-0900 is $8.00 with Detachment Business meeting 0900-1030. Click on the red Lakewood Map button for parking and entrance nearest the meeting place.   

The next Detachment Business Meeting on Saturday March 23, 2024 will be at Lakewood Community Center. Breakfast from 0830-0900 is $8.00 with Detachment Business Meeting 0900-1030.​​

       NOTE HHSVF FOUL WEATHER POLICY: If Henrico County Public Schools are closed or 

                      their opening is delayed by 2 hours or more, HHSVF is cancelled.


HHSVF meets next on Tuesday April 9, 2024. Note that we will meet on the 2nd floor of Publix in its Community Meeting Room at 2250 John Rolfe Pky, Henrico, VA 23233.


Robin Hutton author of Sgt Reckless, story of USMC Horse in Korean War will be our guest speaker​​​​.

Doors open at 1115, the program begins at 1150, and the program will conclude by 1300.  Lunch may be purchased from Publix' Deli.
